Videos

Because people are always saying “you write too much, I can’t be bothered to read your blog, it’s all mad stuff anyways, how comes there’s no videos?” I’ve decided to upload some videos.

Like this one:

This is me and my ex trying to mime to a song of mine called ‘Monkey Monkey’. The song’s actually about something or other - but you’d be forgiven for thinking that it was mainly just an excuse to scream the word “MONKEY!” over and over again. We recorded it in Leeds in June 2008. Then there’s this one, which is my winning three grand on now defunct Channel 5 lunchtime quiz show Brainteaser. You should play along! Also, note the length of the hug at the very end.

This next video is me riding a little toy car down a railway bridge in Leeds, January 2010. About as good at piloting that as I am with the real thing!

Yes, it hurt.

Another song, this time recorded in London, 2011. It’s called My Love Is So So Wonderful. It’s really a vehicle for filthy innuendo and ridiculous metaphor. I got the idea when I realised that all those lovely love songs from people like Al Green and Lionel Richie were actually totally disgusting. All Night Long? That’s foul. You’d be so sore! And that’s not love, that’s just moving your penis inside a person for hours and hours on end. Likewise, this is me pretending to be a crazy American trying to teach people to speak ‘British’:

I got the inspiration for that from Tracy Goodwin. You can see what she’s all about here. As featured on Graham Norton. Finally, how about a video of me teaching people how to play ‘All You Need Is Love’?

Also finally, how about a video of me on Countdown?

And, very, very finally, here’s a video of my dad doing a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s awesome ‘Need Your Love So Bad’ and a video of how amazingly quick on Manic Miner I am and a video of my very amazing friend Diego singing Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’ probably even better than Michael Jackson could have done even when he was alive:

And that’s all.
